Here are some answers to what this site is and who I am.

Who is behind this?

My name is Daniel Hyckenberg, but most people just call me hycken. I'm 24-ish years old and live in Stockholm, Sweden. Right now I'm working on my third year of my masters degree in computer science at KTH (Royal Institute of Technology. For some reason the swedish abbreviation was choosen over RIoT.)
Most of my spare time I tend to spend with my friends doing one of the following things:

Riding unicycle: At the moment my saddle is broken due to an accident the uni had when I threw it down a hill. Havn't really been practicing any skill recently, but you'll find my current level under the unicycle section of this page.
Photography: As my dad is a professional photographer there's always a camera laying around and I enjoy taking pictures when out doing other stuff. Results can be found under Photo albums.
Poi and juggling: Poi? Yes. A poi is a string attached to a small weight. You take one in each hand and start swining them like crazy. I'm not that good, but it's lots of fun. My juggling is improving faster right now though. Still working on getting 5 balls stable, but there's quite a lot to do with 3 or 4 too.
Coding:. Well, when one is in to computer science, there's a slight chance that one will like programming.

What's this?

You've found my web server located in a corner of my basement. There it's puffing along and is all warm an fuzzy inside. For the curious it's an AMD athlon XP 1800+ (1.5GHz) with 512 MB of RAM and quite a few GB disk space. It's running apache 2.x with php 5 and MySQL 5 on top of Gentoo Linux.
